Cryptocurrencies and doing business with them are becoming an increasingly discussed topic in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. As the legislation slowly responds to this issue, questions how to legally trade in the subsequent taxation of cryptocurrencies are mounting. The second continuation of the successful webinar How to Tax Cryptocurrencies in the Czech Republic and Slovakia #2, B2B edition which took place online on 24th February 2021, has also discussed this topic.
The webinar was organized by the Binance Czech & Slovak cryptomen exchange with the support of Binance and the Kryptomagazin.cz portal. Discussing guests were Michal Hanych, tax advisor, lawyer, founder of SimpleTax and SimpleLaw (simpletax.cz) and our colleague Lukáš Steiniger, lawyer and co-founder of the Steiniger Law Firm.
The topics of the webinar concerned business law and current legislation and, last but not least, the issue of the correct taxation of cryptocurrency profits. The following webinar participants had the opportunity to participate in the discussion by asking questions through a form published in advance.

The first year covered topics such as the basics of taxation, tools for supervising transactions, but also addressed issues such as "Which country is best for taxing the crypt." or "Is it necessary to tax the purchase of gold for a crypto?"
