STEINIGER opens an office in Prague: doing business in the Czech Republic from one place

The historic building and courtyard of the RyeBase office house at Žitná 18 in central Prague

The law firm STEINIGER | law firm is expanding into the Czech Republic. From June 2026 it has a permanent office in the Prague office house RyeBase at Žitná 18 — in a historic building in the city centre. Together with the accounting and tax office Wellbens, Slovak and Czech entrepreneurs can now handle the whole agenda of doing business in the Czech Republic in one place: from forming a limited liability company (s. r. o.) through legal and tax advice to bookkeeping and a registered seat.

All your Czech business in one place

An entrepreneur entering the Czech market usually has to deal with several providers at once — a lawyer for contracts, a notary to form the company, an accountant for taxes, and a provider of the registered seat. At STEINIGER we have brought this agenda under one roof. The client works with a single team that handles the legal, tax and accounting side of the business and secures an address in the centre of Prague.

Forming a Czech s. r. o.

We prepare the incorporation documents and handle the steps before the notary and the registration in the Commercial Register. The entrepreneur does not have to go through the process alone.

Legal services

Contracts, corporate relations, the setup of shareholders and directors, and compliance — led by lawyers who know both the Slovak and the Czech environment.

Tax and accounting

Bookkeeping, VAT, payroll and tax returns are handled by the accounting office Wellbens, with which we operate under one roof.

Registered seat

A prestigious address for the Czech company is provided by the RyeBase office house at Žitná 18 — in a historic building in the centre of Prague.

We set up your Czech s. r. o. for you — remotely too

Forming a limited liability company in the Czech Republic has its rules: the deed of foundation or articles of association, payment of the share capital, a trade licence, and registration in the Commercial Register. We can run this entire process for the client — from the first consultation about the company structure to the delivery of the register extract. Most steps can be handled remotely, so the entrepreneur does not have to travel to Prague to set up the company. If they prefer to meet in person, we will welcome them at our office at Žitná 18.

Why handle your Czech entry under one roof

When the legal, tax and accounting side is led by one connected team, the client receives consistent advice and does not have to relay information between a lawyer and an accountant. Forming the company, setting up contracts and the tax regime, and starting the bookkeeping follow directly on from one another — which is exactly why it makes sense to handle them together rather than in three different places. For Slovak clients doing business or expanding into the Czech Republic, it means one point of contact for both countries.

Key points

Company formation, law, tax, accounting and the registered seat — handle the whole agenda of doing business in the Czech Republic with one team, STEINIGER | law firm and Wellbens, without running between several offices.

An address in central Prague: RyeBase, Žitná 18

The Prague office of STEINIGER is located in the RyeBase office house — a curated house in a historic building at Žitná 18, in a quiet part of the centre between the Old and New Town, a few minutes from Wenceslas and Charles Square. For a company, an address in such a house is more than a formality: to clients, banks and business partners it reads as credible and gives the Czech seat real weight.
